Tangerine Confectionery has unveiled details of its Halloween offering.
The Sweet Champions Halloween Assorted 200g Bag (MRRSP £1) features a selection of the UK’s favourite sweets - a mixture of mini Whams (strawberry, sour apple & original raspberry flavours), Fruit Salad Lollies and Black Jack Lollies.
Sold in Halloween themed packaging to capture the attention of shoppers, the 200g bag will be available from September.
Tangerine Confectionery’s Halloween offering also includes the Sweet Champions 750g Sharing Carton, in a new format for 2017, set to make it stand out on retailer’s shelves. The Sharing Carton includes brands such as Wham, Fruit Salad, Refresher and Dip Dab.
Russell Tanner, marketing and category director at Tangerine Confectionery, said: “Halloween has become the third biggest retail event behind Christmas and Easter. Halloween sugar confectionery is worth £6.4m and in the week of Halloween, it accounts for 14% of total sugar sales (just under £1m).
