In the current economic climate, repairing rather than replacing equipment is becoming more and more popular. According to catering equipment manufacturer Lincat, the prompt availability of spare parts is becoming critical.

Nick McDonald, Lincat marketing director, says: "If you need a replacement thermostat, seal or control switch, the chances are you will need it quickly. We manufacture new equipment in the UK and maintain a stockholding of more than half a million components to support that production.
