Sturdy Products UK has completed a contract to supply Sainsbury’s forecourts with its Sturdy Tidystore Low Profile storage and display unit.
The aim of the installation is to enable Sainsbury’s to enhance its range of available product offerings for its forecourt and shopfronts, while capturing key retail impulse sales.
According to the 2020 Forecourt Retail Sector report published by KPMG, only 19% of forecourt shoppers in the UK and Ireland list fuel as the main reason for visiting a forecourt.
With the Tidystore Low Profile, Sainsbury’s can react to this shift in consumer preferences.
“As one of the leading forecourt and supermarket chains in the UK, Sainsbury’s is uniquely positioned to adapt to a changing retail landscape,” said John Hanlon of Sturdy Products UK.
“We are delighted for the opportunity to work with Sainsbury’s and help them meet these challenges head-on with our products.”
Sturdy has supplied Tidystore units to most of the major forecourt operators including Applegreen, Circle K, CPL, Penny Petroleum, Tesco, Park Garage Group and Certas Energy.
The new Tidystore Low Profile unit is the latest addition to the Tidystore Range of retail display solutions for forecourt and shop fronts.
It provides a storage capacity of 1.3 cubic metres combined with a height of just 1 metre.
