Jet Millpool in South Birmingham has reopened with new forecourt and retail facilities following a full knockdown rebuild with a budget of around £1m.
The redevelopment included new pumps to provide the full range of Jet branded fuels and also new AdBlue facilities.
The newly branded Spar store offers a selection of food-to-go facilities for customers including a Costa coffee machine, Spar’s Daily Deli products including hot food to go, 24/7 opening hours, ATM facilities and an extended parking area with increased capacity.
“This is a complete transformation of the former site,” said Phillips 66 district manager Wayne Oakes. “From new fuels, to the bold forecourt branding and new in-shop services – there’s little that hasn’t been considered.”
Jet Millpool service station operator Siva Balasingham said: “We love everything about the new site. The bright colours and LED lights really stand-out, especially when you view the forecourt at night and we are excited to offer more fuel options than before. Customers have been coming in asking when we will be open. We’re looking forward to a fantastic new chapter in the Millpool journey.”
The former Esso site, Millpool Service Station, was acquired by Jet Retail UK in January 2020.
