BP has launched a refresh program for its Connect stores in the UK, with work underway at four trial sites. The oil
company said work on revamping the Watford Way, Brampton Hut, Kilsmore Way and Blackbird Hill Connect sites was due to be completed at the end of this month.
The refresh includes:
• Changes to store layout based on customer feedback and category requirements.
• Improvements to toilets, ceilings, lighting and flooring.
• Alterations to counters.
• General maintenance and repainting.
Richard Harding, BP’s UK convenience retail director, said; “BP Connect Wild Bean has been enormously successful for BP in the UK over the past eight years. We are committed to the continuous improvement of the offer to ensure we meet changing customer needs and expectations. This refresh program is designed to do just this.”
Each site will be closed for a short period while the work is carried out.
If the project is deemed a success, another 16 Connect stores will be refreshed before the end of the year.
