BP has opened two new service stations with M&S Simply Food and bought a third site for redevelop-ment. Sixteen new jobs have been created with the opening of a new BP with M&S Simply Food on Oakleigh Road South, in Southgate, north London, and BP said approximately £800,000 had been spent on the development.

And a new BP service station with M&S Simply Food has been opened after a KDRB (knockdown re-build) of BP’s site at Turks Lane in Honiton, in South Devon.

The development has created 18 new jobs and approximately £2.1m has been spent on the site.

There are currently 261 BP M&S forecourts and BP says it is aiming for 300.

In North Devon BP acquired Bude Road Garage in Holsworthy for redevelopment following its sale through Christie & Co. The site has been in the Dinner family for over 50 years. Simon and Lucy Dinner will continue to run it until early next year while BP go for planning to knock down and rebuild the forecourt, to improve its current layout to suit the oil giant’s model.
