EG On The Move is to begin stocking Duckhams Oils at 150 forecourts following Zuber Issa’s investment in the 126-year-old brand of motor lubricants.

Duckhams was owned by BP from the late 1960s until 2016, when it was acquired by a team of investors.

Zuber, owner and chief executive of EGOTM, subsequently purchased an undisclosed stake in Duckhams in May 2025. The roll-out of Duckhams Oils across EG On The Move forecourts brings both a resurgence of a brand with a longstanding legacy, and vertical integration for Issa.

Mike Bewsey, chief executive of Duckhams, says Zuber’s “decades of entrepreneurial experience and a proven track record in scaling businesses” allowed the brand to expand its footprint in the UK, and “bring this much-loved British brand directly to UK motorists”.

He adds: “A recognisable brand like Duckhams gives drivers confidence to top up their oil and keep moving. We are already seeing the benefits of our partnership with Zuber, who values the extraordinary legacy and immense potential for growth for the Duckhams brand.”
