Juiced energy berry is the latest addition to Coca-Cola Enterprises’ (CCE’s) Relentless range. It contains 50% juice including strawberry, raspberry and blackcurrant. It joins the existing origin, juiced energy tropical and inferno flavours and comes in a 500ml can. Relentless will be backed by a £6m marketing spend during the year.

According to AC Nielsen data, the energy drinks sector has grown by £72m in the past year with Relentless responsible for 30% of this growth. And 80% of Relentless sales since its launch in February 2006 have been incremental to the sector.

Donna Warren, impulse channel shopper marketing controller at CCE, says: "In just three years Relentless has introduced innovative new varieties to suit different tastes and we expect Relentless juiced energy to continue to extend the brand’s success in 2009."
