Barr Soft Drinks is introducing two slim can variants of Rubicon Spring in single can and four-pack multipack formats, at rrps of £1.29 and £3.49 respectively.
The sleek 330ml cans will be available in Black Cherry Raspberry and Orange Mango flavours.
Marketing director Adrian Troy said: “Taste remains the number one reason for shoppers to choose a soft drink, but drinking occasions are changing. With more than 2 billion ‘’healthy lunch’’ occasions now enjoyed at home, customers are increasingly looking for new and exciting flavours and formats to try, so a variety of formats is key.”
At the same time, Barr is launching a new IRN-BRU campaign with a £6m brand investment. The campaign features three new adverts that will run across TV, digital and social channels reaching 90% of 16-34 year olds in Scotland and the North of England.
Troy said: “Last year’s campaign got people talking about the phenomenal taste of IRN-BRU, everyone loves it but they all describe it differently. This year’s campaign continues the great taste debate with three new, thoroughly entertaining broadcast adverts to help drive overall category sales during the key spring and summer period.”
