Mornflake has launched instant porridge pots featuring co-branding with Nutella and Lyles Golden Syrup.
The new ‘Mornflake Top Porridge’ pots feature Mornflake instant porridge oats with a top hat lid, containing either the single portion pack of Nutella hazelnut spread or the sachet of Lyles Golden Syrup.
Commenting on the range, Mornflake marketing manager, Richard Jones, said: “We are delighted to announce Mornflake’s partnerships with these iconic household brands and, as the fastest growing brand in total cereals, it’s the right time for us to take this step.
“By teaming up with the UK’s biggest brands in spread and syrup, we are bringing something new to cereal, while staying relevant to breakfast and maintaining a broad family appeal via popular flavours.
A spokesperson from Ferrero (producer of Nutella) added: “We’re excited to be partnering with Mornflake to launch the first Nutella with Porridge pots, the launch complements our TV communication which showcases Nutella’s versatility at breakfast, where porridge topped with Nutella is a key serving suggestion. The Mornflake and Nutella co-branded new product development really brings this to life for consumers at the point of purchase.”
