Red Bull is now available in a 330ml PET bottle in a bid to prompt more usage occasions throughout the day. The move into bottles should boost forecourts’ sales as, according to AC Nielsen data, Red Bull is the best-selling sports and energy drink in managed forecourts. The 250ml can is the number one seller while the 355ml can comes in at number three.

Red Bull"s head of category marketing, Doug Bairner, says: "The resealable format allows consumers to decide how and in what quantity they consume their energy, particularly useful for driving and in the workplace."

He says the Red Bull 330ml PET bottle should be merchandised to the left of Red Bull 250ml cans.
