Mondelēz International is launching new 50p price-marked packs of Trebor and Maynards Wine Gums this summer, to help retailers get more out of their confectionery range.
The new 50p (RRP) PMPs will be on packs of Trebor Extra Strong Peppermint and Spearmint, Trebor Softmints Peppermint and Spearmint, Trebor Softfruits and Maynards Wine Gums.
Mondelēz International says research suggests that shoppers are looking for clear and transparent pricing information, with price-marked packs helping to make their hunt for value easier.
In research by Him,independent retailers say that PMPs can encourage impulsive purchasing, with the majority believing they sell faster than standard packs and can be used to save time pricing in store, meaning they can provide great sales and operational benefits for stores.
Susan Nash, trade communications manager at Mondelēz International, said: “Price-marked packs help to give customers the reassurance of clear pricing in store. As the number one mint, worth £59m, Trebor is a customer favourite – with the highest rate of sale of any mint brand. The new PMPs give retailers an even bigger opportunity to make the most of the biggest mints brand in the UK.”
