Urban Eat is partnering with the Teenage Cancer Trust for the launch of its limited-edition festive sandwich landing in stores from November 11.

For every festive pack sold, 10p will be donated to help fund the charity’s specialist nurses, youth workers and hospital units supporting young people aged betwee 13 and 24 who have been diagnosed with cancer.

There is a Festive Feast variant with chicken, sweetcured bacon, sage and onion stuffing and cranberry sauce; and a vegetarian Brie & Cranberry option.

A suite of point of sale and digital assets will be available to retailers, including shelf-barkers, digital screen visuals and social media content to drive awareness of the partnership.

Head of customer marketing at supplier Samworth Brothers Food For Now, Wayne Greensmith says: “This Christmas, we wanted our festive range to do more than just taste great.

“Consumers are looking for those little moments of joy that bring warmth, comfort and connection, and this year we’re proud to deliver a range that aims to do just that.”
