The Varta range of batteries has been relaunched and will hit shops in September. The Tri-Energy alkaline line-up carries improved product information. For example, on the Varta High Energy batteries it says ’+23% more power versus Varta Simply Alkaline’.
In addition, the design of the rechargeable batteries has been modified with the introduction of green colour coding to distinguish them from the conventional alkaline batteries.
Finally, there is a new Varta lithium-based battery range available in 1.5 volt AA and AAA, and 9V blocks. Lithium technology is particularly good for digital cameras.
