Walkers launches a new promotion this summer called Gary’s Great Trips.
Following on from its successful Brit Trips initiative last year, consumers collect points on packs and exchange them for discounts on days out around the country.
There is also a special initiative tailored for the impulse channel where shoppers can bid online for VIP trips including international rugby tickets and VIP passes to the V Festival. The promotion is backed by a multi-million pound marketing package. All formats of Walkers crisps are covered and, according to Walkers, there is at least £1-worth of savings per pack.
Builder’s Breakfast, the recent winner of the Do Us a Flavour competition, is also being included in the promotion while a limited-edition promotional six-pack with three new flavours is also being launched.
