A white chocolate, limited edition of Maltesers goes on sale this winter.

Available from November, White Maltesers will be supported by a £2m campaign including TV and poster advertising.

Masterfoods advises retailers to multi-site in key impulse areas to drive sales. Dumpbins and ‘quick boxes’ should be sited in high traffic locations, while single outers should be displayed by the till.

Sam McElligott, trade relations manager at Masterfoods, said: “We know that the white chocolate market is in strong growth (+16 per cent) so retailers should stock up as this winter edition is guaranteed to boost sales.”
