Reckitt Benckiser reckons that with its Nurofen, Lemsip and Strepsils brands it has winter ’all wrapped up’ for retailers as these are leading brands that customers want. In addition they are being backed to the tune of £12m over the key cold and flu season. TV, online, social media and out-of-home campaigns break next month and continue through to the spring.
Kate Sweeney, senior brand manager at Reckitt Benckiser, suggested the top five products that forecourt stores should stock: Lemsip Max All in One for cold and flu; Nurofen Express Caplets for pain relief; Lemsip Cough; Strepsils Extra blackcurrant (16s) for sore throats; and Nurofen for Children cold, pain and fever, strawberry (100ml).
