The Secretary of State has approved Eurotank Environmental to carry out pump meter repair, adjustment and verification on Scheidt & Bachmann systems.
Eurotank is now an approved self verifier of pump meters, which allows the company to break the weights and measures seal on a pumping unit, adjust and verify the meter. It can then re-seal and stamp the meter.
Edward Wheeler, managing director of Eurotank, said: "It is illegal for a retailer to operate a pump without a crown stamp in place. Eurotank pump verifiers carry a crown stamp with a personal number, which identifies them as an individual capable of carrying out this work."
The company has further boosted its credentials with two new ISO certifications in occupational health and safety, and the environment.
