New training modules designed to test the knowledge of staff working in an in-store bakery or foodservice operation have been added to the Country Choice website to help customers to make the most of sales opportunities.
The training modules are part of the Country Choice Training Academy, a valuable information source sited within the exclusive Customer Zone area of the company’s website. They can be accessed with a laptop, tablet or smart phone for maximum convenience.
Eight modules cover bread, savouries, bake-off, and thaw-and-serve confectionery, as well as hot, and chilled food-to-go, kitchen essentials, and health & hygiene.
Clicking on the module takes customers through a series of multiple-choice questions on the subject, quizzing users on issues such as correct oven temperature, handling procedures, and presentation. The 15 questions are automatically marked, and the results are stored to monitor progress. The modules can therefore be used again and again, as part of an ongoing training programme for staff, bringing them up to speed with the foodservice operation quickly and easily.
The training modules join a wealth of online information including training videos, planograms, in-store documentation downloads, COSHH and FIC facts, as well as label printing information, and the opportunity to order point-of-sale material.
