Commission for mobile phone e-top-up sales is now available for independent retailers with a Multepay terminal.
The optional bolt-on commission package will see up to 10 per cent commission paid on mobile phone electronic top-ups for the first time in the UK amid concern over commissions for payment and prepayment services.
Retailers connected to the Multepay Direct terminal launched last year can earn up to 5.5 per cent on e-top-ups. But the new ‘The Big 10-4’ package gives retailers up to 10 per cent commission on the four main products: mobile top-ups, mobile content, international phone cards and prepaid internet access.
Andrew House, Multepay’s managing director, said: “We have produced a commission package that gives retailers extra profits where it counts most. Our business is to provide solutions that maximise retailers’ profits – not to keep back large portions of margins and profit from our retailers.”
To qualify for the highest commissions, for every £100 of mobile top-up sold, retailers need to sell £25 of the other three prepaid products available on the terminal.
