Navarra Retail System will be launching three new retail dispensing products in the UK to assist retailers in stock loss prevention and security for high value items, at this year’s National Convenience Show at the NEC April 25-27.
Navarra Retail Systems Ltd is the UK Principal Agent for GM Global’s range of retail dispensing systems and Hugh Walker, sales director - Navarra Retail Systems, says the companies work together to provide effective solutions for retailers worldwide.
”One of the products we are launching is the Versa - a standalone dispensing system which can handle all shapes and sizes of products,” explains Walker.
“It is designed to fit in a fixture or be a standalone unit. This system works for items like printer inks, male grooming, cosmetics and other high value items prone to high levels of loss prevention in medium to large shops and supermarkets. The system meets the demands of large retailers who suffer high levels of loss across a range of products where conventional tagging is ineffective. The system can feature a media screen, or touch screens to handle product information, images and payment selection similar to those in fast-food outlets. They can take card payments directly or dispense on display of a token or barcode from another payment source. The systems can provide real time stock control for each product through the use of telemetry.”
Another new product is the Hybrid Smart Tobacco Gantry unit, which Walker says was developed to meet the needs and request of tobacco retailers who require a dedicated high-quality merchandise area for Vape products. The unit is a 600mm-wide addition to the rest of the RDH range and includes more RYO pouch tobacco chutes as well as the dedicated Vape fixture
The Vape shelving is fully illuminated and features space for branding, adjustable shelving and when used in conjunction with our other RDH smart tobacco gantries media screen options are available too. Walker says the system adds more choice to the full range of upright and low level systems available in the UK. It will be available in 600mm, 1200mm,1600mm and 1800mm widths to suit different space and range requirements.
The third new product is the RDH1200 Safe which Walker says is now available as a special order: “This upright smart tobacco gantry features additional security over the standard range of upright smart tobacco gantries with thicker steel in key areas and a unique safe type slide bolt lock system to protect the valuable tobacco inside,” says Walker.
”Devised for the Australian market when a store may be over an hour away from the nearest police or security element, the tobacco is very well protected in the event of a break in, perfect for a shop which suffers from regular tobacco break-in theft or a poor response from the police.”
Walker stresses that these new systems complement the company’s current range of modular upright and low-level smart tobacco gantries which already have a very high degree of security proven to protect tobacco stock from shrinkage and theft. When the systems are connected to EPOS they provide a number of multifaceted benefits to improve stock control, security, space plus staff and management time.
