TSG UK Solutions Ltd (TSG UK), which specialises in technical services for sustainable mobility solutions, has acquired the business of UCPC Limited (UCP Choice).
TSG UK has experienced rapid growth in the new energies sector (including EV, gas and hydrogen) as customers look to reduce their carbon footprint and adopt alternative fuels. It follows the recent acquisition of specialist EV installation, electrical and signage contractor, DRB UK, in November 2021.
UCP Choice is a national provider of HV connections helping to accelerate the move to electric vehicles and renewable energy. Based in Cambridge, they offer a full service including design, equipment supply, project management, installation and maintenance to the EV, battery storage and solar market.
Henry Simpson, managing director of TSG UK, said: “I am delighted to welcome the UCPC team to TSG UK. UCP Choice has built an enviable reputation as an independent connection provider to blue-chip clients. The acquisition will allow TSG to offer our customers a full turnkey EV charger solution, including any HV element.”

The acquisition of UCP Choice continues TSG’s strategy of offering a ‘one-stop-shop’ for innovative energy and retail solutions nationwide, including retail, fleet, systems, wash, EV charge, gas and FM.
