Local authorities have granted planning permission for a derelict filling station in Newport to be knocked down, and a new PFS erected in its place.
The site, on Cardiff Road, is close to the city centre, and began trading as a petrol station in 1970s, before closing in the mid-2000s and decaying ever since.
Now, Rottner & Rudge has successfully applied for permission to redevelop the plot, with Newport City Council agreeing the company can demolish all remaining structures on the site and replace them with a modern forecourt.
The development will feature four pump islands served by two 75,000-litre underground tanks, overseen by a modern, glass-fronted forecourt shop with a mono-pitch roof. A pair of jet-wash bays will feature, as will a single EV charging unit.
