Officers from Kent Police are appealing to members of the public for information following an assault that took place at a petrol station in Ramsgate.
On Thursday, April 23 a driver at the Texaco forecourt on West Cliff Road in the town was assaulted after being approached by a man who was on foot. Police also say cars at the garage were “targeted” during the incident, which took place just before 3:30pm.
Officers attended the scene and found no injuries requiring medical attention had been reported, though they subsequently arrested a man in his 30s, who was taken into custody and bailed while enquiries continue.
