Jet is reporting a fast-growing estate in Scotland after recruiting eight new sites during 2023. The fuel brand says the annual increase in outlets north of the border is its biggest for more than a decade.
The new sites are Ayr Service Station, Boghall Service Station (Bathgate), MFG Barclay Place (Edinburgh), Great Glen Service Station (Fort Augustus), MFG Sandymount (Glasgow), Highlight Kilbirnie Service Station, Highland New Cumnock, and Hillside Filling Station (Selkirk).
The sites were formerly branded Shell, BP, Gulf and Highland Fuels.
Jet adds that its existing stations in Scotland have seen like-for-like site volumes rise by a fifth since 2019.
It follows the launch of Jet’s first TV advertising in Scotland for several years, with its Keep on Moving campaign airing from August 2023.
Graham Clout, UK dealer sales manager, Phillips 66, which owns the Jet brand, says: “Scotland is a hugely important market for us, so we’re thrilled to see the number of Jet branded sites growing. In 2024, we’ve got lots of exciting plans, including growing our EV offering and renewed marketing activity for what is set to be an exciting year.”
Jet is also aiming to launch charging facilities at four stations in Scotland this year.
