Chargepoint operator Raw has opened its latest hub, unveiling a new eight-bay facility in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
The ‘destination’ charging firm, which specialises in installing EV sockets at leisure centres, retail parks and hospitality locations, has been expanding significantly of late, opening at least three new hubs since August, while also signing multimillion-pound deals with B&Q, and commercial property firm Landsec.
Raw’s latest project is located at Hinchingbrooke Business Park, a stone’s throw from the A141 and A1307 main roads. It comprises two 50kW rapid bays and six ultra-rapid 150kW ones, with the park itself being owned by real-estate investment firm, Frogmore.
Jason Simpson, CEO, RAW Charging says the new hub sits in a “convenient location just off a major A road”, making it “an ideal stop for locals, commuters and holidaymakers to access quick and reliable charging”.
