A Shell filling station in Cambridgeshire that closed last October is set to reopen later this month following significant improvement works.
The Wisbech site was due to reopen in February, but unfavourable weather conditions meant that this date was missed.
The site has been undergoing extensive upgrades, including new pumps, tanks, offset fills and vent pipes, while an extension that will add an additional 535sq ft to the shop building, which will feature a Co-op fascia once the site reopens, is also being added.
The oil major told the Eastern Daily Press: “While we cannot provide a specific date for reopening, we can confirm works are expected to be completed with the site being reopened later this month.”
