Spar wholesaler James Hall is relaunching its Harvest Scheme, an initiative set up in 2006 to reward retailer loyalty and encourage investment in stores. The company has pledged to double the amounts retailers have earned on the scheme, using its own money.

The wholesaler is also keen to help grow its retailers’ chilled sales. To this end, it is launching a continental breakfast meal deal, a new range of sandwiches and a selection of food-to-go lines.

The company recently moved to a new depot in Preston, which is four times the size of its previous premises.
