KP Snacks is supporting the convenience channel in the run-up to Christmas by reintroducing festive editions of its popular brands: KP Nuts, Hula Hoops and Pom-Bear.

Armed with the knowledge that nearly 40% of all KP Nuts sales occur in the weeks leading up to Christmas, KP Snacks is bringing back its festive tubs of Jumbo Salted Peanuts, Dry Roasted Peanuts and Honey Roast Peanuts, which contributed to a total KP Nuts delivery of £22m to the category through Christmas 2015 (Nielsen data). Resealable sharing packs of KP Original Salted Peanuts, Dry Roasted Peanuts, Spicy Chilli Peanuts, Frosted Maple Syrup and Frosted Honey Roast Nuts will also add variety to the brand’s offering.

Pom-Bear Snowmen, Hula Hoops Stars, KP Cheese Footballs and Chio Maxi Mix are also back. Each is available in a sharing format and, in addition, Pom-Bear and Hula Hoops’ iconic shapes have undergone their annual makeover to take on festive forms and add fun for the whole family.

KP is supporting retailers by providing convenient formats that don’t take up too much shelf space, plus branded pos material such as festive shippers, to generate excitement and boost impulse sales. KP trading director, Matt Collins, says caddies are a great addition to a Christmas range as they tempt shoppers to pay a premium for a quality snacking product. KP’s come in a stackable format that ensures they are convenient for every shelf.
