ExxonMobil is moving to a 100% Mobil offering in its Esso forecourts.
The company says the move is in response to an increasing number of vehicles requiring specific grades of oil - in most cases synthetic oil. The Mobil range will give drivers a comprehensive choice of premium oil and lubricants. It is led by the Mobil 1 collection and covers cars - both petrol and diesel - light commercial vehicles, motorcycles and ancillaries.
Andrew Sarratt, ExxonMobil’s UK & Ireland lubricants service station manager, said the move will enable forecourt managers to showcase the complete range while communicating a clear upgrade message for consumers to buy premium products.
Stores will be provided with a range of point-of-sale material to educate their customers and ensure they pick the right oil and lubricant for their vehicle.
