McVitie’s Cake Company is launching two seasonal limited-edition variants: McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes lemon & slime cake bars and Jaffa Cakes spooky mini rolls.
The cake bars come in packs of five retailing at £1.49. Packs feature pumpkins, spider’s webs and bats.
The mini rolls are a blend of dark crackly chocolate and light sponge with a zingy orange centre. Rrp is £1.49.
Mike Benton, marketing controller at McVitie’s Cake Company, said: "The £50m McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes brand lends itself well to seasonal limited editions and this year we decided to have a different take on last year’s popular lemon & slime flavoured Jaffa Cakes."
