Peperami’s first crowd-sourced ad has made its appearance on TV to support new Peperami Nibblers. Brand owner Unilever received 1,185 entries for the crowd-sourcing initiative. Two were chosen and developed to create the new ad.
Nibblers are bite-sized pieces of Peperami. The new ad sees the return of the ’Animal’ character together with his offspring who end up eating him. A voiceover says ’Peperami Nibblers. It’s little bits of Animal’. Matt Burgess, managing director at Peperami, said the brand was bold enough to experiment with new ideas in an "increasingly consumer-driven world".
