AG Barr is introducing San Benedetto – a premium Italian soft drinks brand – to the UK.

“Soft drinks shoppers are looking for premium, exciting and indulgent products that deliver on taste, and this trend has helped drive 15% growth in high fruit adult carbonates,” said Adrian Troy, marketing director at AG Barr.

“However many of these products are high in sugar at a time when consumers are looking to reduce their sugar intake.

“San Benedetto contains 12% juice and is made with the first squeeze of the fruit which ensures only the highest quality juice is used, delivering a completely unforgettable taste. And with less than 5g of sugar per 100ml and a suggested RSP of 85p, the new SKUs are an indulgence that UK consumers can enjoy every day.”

The range will be available from February and will comprise two flavours – Limone (Lemon) and Clementina (Orange).
