Indian snacks brand Cofresh has extended its core range of savoury Asian mixes with two new flavours to help retailers capitalise on the growing demand for global taste adventures.

Khatta Meetha, a sweet and tangy mix of powa (rice flakes), Sev noodles, Bhavnagri Sev and spices, is, said Debbie King, director of commercial sales & marketing, the perfect partner to a beer or soft drink and ideal for sharing during a Big Night In.

“Khatta Meetha is a traditional Indian snack which we’ve brought bang up to date to meet the booming demand for spicier, more interesting food,” explained King. ”As consumers’ tastebuds get bolder, they’re seeking out ever more ethnically authentic and exciting flavours.”

Cofresh has also unveiled its new Chilli & Lemon Bombay Mix, a tasty mix of savoury noodles, peas, peanuts and lentils with a spicy, tangy flavour.

“By taking our best-selling Chilli & Lemon flavour and applying it to an Asian mix, we’re targeting the new generation and millennials who are constantly looking for a new take on traditional snacks,” added King.

Both the Khatta Meetha and the Chilli & Lemon Bombay Mix are available in 200g and 325g packs.
