Healthy snacking brand The Food Doctor is targeting the forecourt retail sectors this summer with the launch of its four-strong range of nutritious and flavoursome Popped Crisp Thins.

With health continuing to be a growing consumer food trend, the quartet of high fibre and high protein Popped Crisp Thins are available from May and comprise Spicy Chipotle, Sweet Chilli, Hot Wasabi and Mild Korma flavours.

As the summer snacking, picnic and alfresco season kicks off in earnest, the flavour-packed, healthy snacks are made with soya and corn and are popped at a high temperature instead of being fried or baked. The range of Popped Crisp Thins are available in 23g packs in SRPs of 10 (RRP from 99p).

The launch into the forecourt sector coincides with The Food Doctor’s brand refresh with new packaging and branding.

Hannah Shrimpton, head of marketing at The Food Doctor, said: “This is the biggest investment in the brand in its 18-year history so it’s the perfect time to target new channels such as forecourt and convenience.

“We’re passionate about making it easier for consumers to find and enjoy healthy, tasty snacks whether they’re at home, work, on the run or eating out. We’re confident the four-strong range of Popped Crisp Thins offer great eating quality and health benefits so we expect them to be strong performers in the forecourt and on-the-go sectors in the coming months.”
