Haribo has unveiled a new addition to its range – Fruitilicious – which it says has 30% less sugar.

Fruitilicious features fruit shaped, smiley faced pieces in strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, orange, apple and lemon flavours.

Hayley Nixon, marketing manager from Haribo, commented: “For almost 100 years Haribo has been producing treats and offers an extensive range. In fact, we have the most diverse offering on the market with sharing formats, mini bags and pre-portioned multipacks all helping our consumers to make the choice that is right for them, their friends and family, whatever the occasion.

“Through Fruitilicious we are taking this one step further by adding a sugar reduced product to our range, one that does not compromise on taste or texture – it is exactly what you would expect from Haribo!”

Fruitilicious will be available from the middle of January in a range of pack sizes including 165g, 120g and a 155g £1 RSP priced-marked pack.

Fruitilicious will be supported by a multi-channel campaign including PR, product sampling and a new exclusive TV advert which marks a multi-million pound investment for the Haribo brand.
