This spring Nestlé Confectionery is aiming to excite shoppers with a range that includes new launches as well as proven successes from its range of big brands.
New to the market for 2016 is Black Magic Mini Eggs (RRP £2). The majority of mini eggs packs are designed to appeal to shoppers with children, however 67% of mini eggs shoppers do not have children. Therefore there is a huge opportunity for a more grown-up offering, and Black Magic is aiming to tap into this with a more premium mini eggs offering aiming to appeal to an older, more upmarket demographic.
Returning to the impulse range in 2016 are Smarties Little Choc Chick (RRP 65p) and Milkybar Bunny (RRP 65p) and following its first year, the Aero Bubbly Egg (RRP 65p) is back in the range for 2016 with a new design.
Another introduction, this time in the kids range, is Chick in Egg (RRP £2.55). This pack is a foil wrapped milk chocolate egg featuring inside a cute chick with the words “I’m in here”, thus inviting consumers to break open their egg and discover the mini Smarties in both the egg and the milk chocolate chick inside.
Also returning for 2016 are the popular Smarties and Milkybar Farmyard fun eggs (RRP £4.99), which together accounted for 13% of kids fun egg sales in 2015.
