Sunmagic, which produces a range of 100% pure fruit juice, smoothies and juice drinks, is launching a raft of new products, to appeal to the consumer trends for both low-calorie drinks and more exotic flavours.

Sunmagic Cherry & Apple Juice Drink is low calorie and available in 500ml bottles. Sunmagic will also bring Apple, Mint & White Grape Juice Drink to market in mid-October, also in 500ml bottles. This product contains 35% juice; a much higher juice content than that of the average juice drink.

The premium drinks manufacturer is also launching four new one-litre packs, which are low calorie with no added sugar and are available now. These comprise: Sunmagic Tropical Juice Drink, Orange & Mango Juice Drink; Caribbean Delight and Summer Delight Juice Drinks.

Sunmagic Elopak Premium Mango Juice Drink will be available from mid-October and comes in aseptic packaging, which provides a longer shelf life.

“Our Cherry & Apple Juice Drink responds to a gap in the market for such a flavour profile, and both trade and consumer feedback has already been extremely positive. Cherry products have been around for a long time, however we believe we are the first to market a cherry and apple product in a 500ml format.

“In our consumer research our Sunmagic Apple, Mint & White Grape Juice Drink was heralded as one of the best-tasting 500ml products Sunmagic has ever produced. This is yet another example of how modern consumer tastes are changing, with consumers increasingly looking for more exotic or unusual flavour profiles to satisfy particular occasions.

“While everyday flavours such as orange or apple will continue to generate the highest sales in terms of volumes, retailers need to ensure they are also appealing to consumers’ more adventurous tastes with a good selection of more exotic flavours.

“Our new launches make Sunmagic a natural one-stop-shop for customers, with Sunmagic now having 15 different flavour profiles across 17 500ml SKUs, which incorporate ‘5-a-day’, low-calorie, Fairtrade and sports cap variants, to appeal to all consumer occasions. We also now have eight 200ml flavours available across 10 packs, and 12 one-litre flavours available across 16 one-litre packs.”
