Cadbury is extending its popular Trebor Extra Strong brand with the launch of a gum in spearmint and peppermint flavours.
The company said it identified an opportunity to grow the gum category by appealing to consumers aged 35-plus. It believes Trebor Extra Strong is the perfect brand to do that.
The Trebor gum comes in stick packs of 10 pellets and has a strong, long-lasting flavour in-keeping with the rest of the Extra Strong range.
Meanwhile, Cadbury Dairy Milk has launched its new Fairtrade-certified chocolate bars.
The company says the brand is the first mass-market chocolate to gain certification from the Fairtrade Foundation. Apparently there is no change to the taste of the chocolate and the price remains the same.
