EDGEPoS users who operate under the BP fuel brand can now take full advantage of the newly launched BPme App, as it has been fully integrated into the software.

Henderson Technology, the company behind EDGEPoS, and BP have a long history of working together.

Over recent years, EDGEPoS has become one of the few pos systems approved by BP for use in its network in Australia.

This relationship continued closer to home with EDGEPoS being selected as one of the few pos systems in the UK to integrate the 2018 BPme App launch.

The new BPme, which allows customers to carry out fuel transactions via a mobile phone app, is now available at more than 500 participating BP sites nationwide, with more sites being added weekly.

When a customer reserves a pump through the App, this will show on the site’s tills as BPme reserved and allow the customer to dispense and pay for the fuel, without having to enter the store; thus saving on the need for cashier activity.

Henderson Technology’s EDGEPoS and BPme integration works through the Enabler pump controller onsite, and allows for full visibility and reporting on the back office.
