The forecourt is in Alvaston, to the south east of the town

Police are appealing for information after a filling station in Derby was broken into.

Thieves made their way into the forecourt shop of the Gulf site at 11:15pm on Tuesday, with the forecourt closed and cordoned off the following day. Alcohol and cash were reportedly stolen during the incident. 

Derbyshire Police subsequently launched an appeal for information, with officers “keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident”.
