A County Durham dealer says moving his site to supply from Greenergy with Esso branding has helped to increase sales volumes by 22%.
In January 2015, Ian Atkinson’s Ouston Service Station moved fuel supply from Jet after being with the group for more than 15 years.
He said that since then volumes have increased 22% to 3.7mlpa, and he put the increase down to the Esso Synergy branding, and the appeal of the Tesco Clubcard scheme.
Ian said: “It is clear that our new fuel offer is extremely appealing to our customers. We are seeing the benefit of a major oil brand with competitive pricing and reliable deliveries, all managed by the customer-focused team at Greenergy.”
The site, which is open daily from 6am to 10pm, has four islands with four multi-hose pumps. It includes a Londis-branded shop and other facilities include a new post office, car wash, lottery, fresh sandwiches and an off licence.
