McCain launches lighter version of Home Chips

John Wood ·

McCain is launching a lighter version of its Home Chips.

Over three years in development, the McCain Lighter Home Chip offer 30% less fat than the original.

Launching as the nation’s first ‘lighter’ home chip, the new product is intended to meet growing consumer demand for lighter versions of products, as part of a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet.

Mark Hodge, marketing director at McCain, said: “It fills us with pride to see that our Home Chips have remained the nation’s favourite chip for over 20 years, and we’re delighted to be able to introduce a version that is beautifully crispy and deliciously fluffy – only lighter.

“After years of development, the launch of our Lighter Home Chip is testament to our ongoing commitment to producing high-quality and innovative products for people to enjoy in the home.

“With many people increasingly on the lookout for lighter options which complement a balanced diet, we believe that Lighter Home Chips is perfect for anyone looking for a lighter alternative without compromising on taste.”
