US oil firm Jet has won the contract for two filling stations in Scotland, usurping previous fuel supplier Gleaner and bringing the total number of Jet forecourts north of the border to 50.
The Phillips 66 owned brand now adorns the canopies of the Drum of Wartle Filling Station near Inverurie, a town 15 miles north-west of Aberdeen; and Craigellachie Filling Station in Moray, with the former being Jet’s first Aberdeenshire site.
Jet says it won the contracts thanks to a “competitive” offer and “reliable day-to-day service”, while the firm is working in partnership with Highland Fuels to supply the sites, a contract that extends across a dozen Scottish forecourts.
Drum of Wartle Filling Station is a rural site operated by Buccaneer Fuels that sits alongside the A920 main road and features a Premier convenience store, while Craigellachie Filling Station offers a Londis shop, pay-at-pump facilities and EV charging.
Paul Yates, retail account manager for Scotland, Phillips 66, comments: “It is great to see two more Scottish sites joining the Jet branded network through Highland Fuels, building on an arrangement that is already well established in the region.
“Each site has its own local role and character, and that is an important part of the story, as the two sites serve very different communities. Both show how a strong forecourt and convenience offer, backed by a trusted fuel brand, can be shaped around local needs.”
