A deal between Evri and MFG will see the UK’s largest independent forecourt operator install parcel lockers at 500 petrol stations.
The agreement represents a “major new nationwide partnership”, Evri says, and is the fruit of £50m the firm earmarked for expansion, with a view to double its locker numbers by the end of the decade.
The MFG rollout will begin this month and continue through spring, with Evri citing “MFG’s widespread presence across both urban and rural areas” as a key reason for the partnership.
A spokesperson for MFG comments: “With the rollout of Evri’s lockers across 500 Motor Fuel Group sites, this new partnership brings together two brands focused on everyday convenience.
“Together we’re able to give customers greater flexibility to send, collect and return parcels as part of their regular routines, while enhancing the role our forecourts play in local communities and adding real value for our retail partners.”
