Officers from North Yorkshire Police are appealing for help from members of the public as they seek a man they wish to speak to in relation to a pair of drive-offs.
The alleged offences took place in the Harrogate area in “the late evening” on Sunday 8 and Monday 9 June.
The incidents involved what appears to be a silver second-generation (2004-10) Kia Sportage, the driver of which drew fuel on two separate occasions before leaving the forecourts without paying.
Footage of at least one of the incidents was captured on CCTV, and officers are asking anyone who recognises the man in a still taken from this to contact them.
Members of the public who have any information regarding the whereabouts of the car in question are also asked to contact police.
