A new campaign is under way to build consumer awareness of biscuit bar McVitie’s Medley. The activity includes a free Blippar app, which enables consumers to watch the new McVitie’s Medley band, The Medley Mixers.
The biscuit bars are also being sampled at high-profile events where consumers are being encouraged to show off their best air guitar skills using a giant Medley bar. Other activity includes a Facebook page and Twitter feed.
Meanwhile, McVitie’s brand owner United Biscuits has teamed up with TerraCycle UK to launch the McVitie’s Biscuit Wrapper Brigade. Consumers simply send their biscuit wrappers to Terracycle to help reduce waste and raise funds for the charity of their choice.
