Wrigley’s Extra Chewy Mints are the subject of an extensive sampling programme that’s taking place all this month to drive trial and "purchase intent" among key consumers. More than 3.7million consumers will be targeted.
One million samples will be given out at Pizza Hut restaurants at the end of each meal. This will be supported by a half-price coupon for consumers to encourage future purchase.
In addition, millions of Sun and Mirror newspaper readers will get to take advantage of a ’Free for Every Reader’ voucher offer which will be redeemable at participating retailers.
Wrigley recommends that retailers get stocked up with the full Extra mint range to reap the benefits of the activity.
