Nestlé Confectionery has relaunched some of its popular chocolate biscuit bars with a 99-calorie content. Blue Riband, Breakaway, Toffee Crisp and Drifter all now have a new pack design featuring a ’99 calories’ flash on the front to communicate the change to shoppers.

Graham Walker, Nestlé UK trade communications manager, says, "Across our biscuit portfolio this relaunch is certain to appeal to the growing number of shoppers who are looking for added reassurance of calorie control without compromising on taste - especially mums shopping for lunchboxes or treats for the family.

"Retailers are advised to stock up as this new range offers a significant point of difference to other brands in the marketplace - the lowest calorie content within the top 20 brands by an average of 13%."

The range consists of Blue Riband and Breakaway in six-packs, nine-packs and 18-packs, Drifter eight-packs and Toffee Crisp biscuit seven-packs.
