Nisa is helping retailers to make the most of the milder spring weather and big night in opportunity with a Cider Festival promotion aimed at helping to drive footfall and increased sales.
The event will run until 14 April, supporting Nisa partners in generating additional sales with competitive pricing and offers on a wide range of ciders to tempt shoppers.
The promotion is supported with themed POS to help retailers to create in-store theatre and highlight the great deals on offer, in addition to posts on Nisa’s consumer-facing social media channels to further encourage customers to buy.
Ciders on promotion during the festival include Kopparberg or selected Smirnoff Cider 10x330ml at £10, 500ml bottles of Old Mout, Rekorderlig, Kopparberg or Bulmers fruit ciders at 2 for £4 (excluding Scotland) and Strongbow Dark Fruit 10pk at £11.
Nisa’s wholesale category controller for lagers, ciders, ales and stouts, Sam Yeadon, said: “With research suggesting that over a quarter of cider shoppers are on a treat mission, it’s important for retailers to highlight promotions and offers to drive increased basket spend.
“Our previous Cider Festival promotions have been a huge success with Nisa retailers and their customers alike and we hope this event will once again deliver a competitive offer for our retailers that will support them in driving additional sales, particularly as the warmer weather arrives and consumers switch to cider to deliver a more refreshing drink.”
